Gold Coast Day 6

Today we permit ourselves to wake up a bit later as there are no activity in the morning due to we have to catch a flight back to Gold Coast. Linda & I made pan cake with maple syrup and butter and sunny side egg for breakfast. After breakfast, we went to Airlie Beach town area for a walk. Took some photos along the way. We rest at a cafe near the beach, having tea, coffee and chocolate fondu. 🙂 The cafe is quite nice, and we enjoy our tea/coffee with chocolate fondu while relaxing under this great place

After this, we went to a small Japanese food restaurant for lunch, which the chief are not Japanese. But the foods are still okie. I ate curry rice while the rest ate ramen and sushi.

After dinner, we continue to walk around the beach area…. The life here is so peaceful and just right and how I wish I could stay here are a longer period. Relaxing on the beach without any worries, feel like a big stone is off my body every time I relax at the beach, watching the sea and boats….

After we went back to the resort to prepare for check out and wait for the airport transfer bus to fetch us to the airport. While waiting, I took some more photos before leaving this great place. If I had a chance again, I would come back here.

We reached Brisbane airport around 4.30pm. Then we took air train to Neegra. While at the Brisbane train station, we waiting for almost 1hr as the train is delayed due to dunno what reason…. We almost give up and want to take cab, but in the end still waited for that delayed train. While waiting, took some photos to entertain myself… Haha….

When finally the train came, we quickly board the train and find empty seats to sit down as the trip to Neegra station is quite long. After we settle down on the seat, an funny old big man came in with a wheel chair and lots of stuffs on the wheel chairs covered with a very big blanket. I was curious of whats in the blanket, but can’t see whats in it. When we reached Neegra station, it is already very late. We took a bus straight to the Pacific Fair shopping mall, hoping to find some food as we did not had our dinner yet. But all restaurants are closed. Thus in the end, we bough roasted chicken, pizza, and Campbell soup from Coles and took a cab back to our service apartment for the 3 nights here. This is a two bedroom service apartment with open concept kitchen again and even a small study room. This is to best service apartment we had ever stay in our Gold Coast trip. By the way this service apartment is Meriton Serviced Apartment Broadbeach. And it has indoor and outdoor swimming pool too. 🙂

After we ate our dinner, we slept early as we need to wake up early for tomorrow activity, which is whale watching and Sea World….. Looking for for it… hehe 😛
