Woke up early morning again today and took the public bus to Sea World. When reached Sea World, we check in at the cruise counter and wait for the time to board the cruise boat.
After a while, the staff announced for us to board the boat. Before boarding, they took a photo for each of the group.
The boat is quite big and new. It has 3 deck, bottom, middle and top deck. The top deck is open air, while the bottom and middle deck has air condition room. There are also front seating areas in front of the captain control room to view from the front of the boat.
After a while, the boat start to move off slowly. The view is really beautiful, so took a few photos while the boat is moving off.
This boat ride seem exciting…. 😛
Nice Yacht! How I hope I own one like this where I could relax at the sea during weekend and do some fishing……
After a while, we were told to sit down as the boat is speeding off to the deeper sea to look for whales….. When the boat slow down again, we are allowed to walk around the boat again. This time, everyone is preparing to sight the whales. As the crew told us they did not use any special equipment to detect those whales, so the only equipment we use is all of our eyes to help each other find the whales. We were told to look for the Blow, which is caused by the whale. This allows us to know where the whale will surface. See, everyone is looking for the whales 🙂
After a while, we still can’t spot any whales. Then captain decided to move to another location. When reached there, we prepare to find the whales again. And not long after, the 1st whale is finally spotted some distance away form the front of the boat.
And after some time, to our surprise, there is whales that came near to our boat. It is so near that we could see the whole body and hear the loud sound of its blow. The whales may be curious of our boat and decided to come near to investigate…. hehe 😛
These whales are really huge. And the sight of it is really beautiful…… They shine under the sun…. And they leave behind the whale footprint on the water where looks like a layer of oil patch on where the whale came to the surface of the water. After some time of watching the whale, the boat return to shore.
The whale watching is recommended as it is really good. After we reached the shore, our next destination is Sea World. We got the whale watching plus the Sea World as a package, which is much cheaper than getting it separately.
After we entered into the Sea World, we are so hungry as we skipped the breakfast. Thus we look for a place to have lunch. While eating, we saw there is some jet ski performance going on.
After lunch, we went to see the penguin…. They are so cute, with their coat on…
After watching the penguin, we walk around the place and see other animals. We also bought a refillable soft drink where we could just refill our cup anywhere in the Sea World within the day free

After that, we went to the to watch the Sea lion known as Pet Detective show. The sea lion is so cute and really can perform very well with the Sea World staff. This show is quite nice. An audience is even invited up to the stage to perform with them. The sea lion are performing as detective, trying to find the bad guys who have been dealing with illegal stuffs….
After the show end, we went over to the little penguin feeding show where the staff are feeding these little penguins. The penguins are so cute and little and they just swim around the water and walk over to the staff to receive a fish from them each. After received the fish, they just jump into the water again… 🙂
The last show that we went is the dolphin show. This show has displayed how well the dolphin is trained and synchronise so well with the performers.
These dolphins can really jump very high……
After the show, we just walk around the Sea World until it close for the day.
Came across this place where the sharks swim in. There are also some additional activity such as you could swim with the shark, but that you have to pay additional for this activity
There are some rides in Sea World too such as the Storm Coaster, Jet Rescue, Viking Revenge Flame etc…… We did not take these rides as we are too old to take anything that are too excited for the heart…. 😛 But these rides seem quite exciting… you may want to try it. 🙂
When it is time to go, we refill our cup for the last time and left this place to go back to our apartment. Before going back to the apartment, we took the bus to the Pacific Mall Shopping Centre Coles again to buy Butter Chicken Rice, Satay Chicken Rice, Thai Green Curry Chicken Rice and Thai Red Curry Chicken Rice and some snacks back to microwave them and eat…… 🙂 And due to out 1st year wedding anniversary, Michael and Janice bought us a bottle of Champagne to celebrate. Thanks Michael and Janice! 🙂 After that, we walk back to the apartment as it is quite nearby.
