Today I don’t have to wake up early as there is no plans in the morning. But Michael and Janice still woke up early to make breakfast for all of us. 🙂 We had scramble egg, sunny side egg, muffin, beacon, bake beans and milk. Its is a great breakfast! 🙂
After breakfast, we check out and continue to drive to our next stop in Airlie Beach. It is a 2hr journey, and we stop by Sabrina to tour the sugar mill. But when we reached there, we were told by the uncle at the information counter that it is closed for stock taking. Too bad…. Before we left this place, had a great chat with the locals here as he gave us a lot of informations on Airlie beach and some information booklet. Thanking the uncle, we continue on our drive to Airlie Beach.
When reached Airlie Beach, we check in at the Martinique Whitsunday Resort for 2 nights here. The room we booked is a 2 bedrooms apartment, where there is kitchen and washing machine too. It is quite big with queen size beds in each room. And our balcony is facing the swimming pool 🙂
After check in, we drove to the town area for lunch. It is a living town with full of peoples here in beach wear walking around and lots of cafe and pubs. While walking along the road, we saw lunch special price and we walked in. 🙂 We ordered Ratatouille with rice, 2 sets of fish and chips and burger with chips. All comes with a glass of beer each. It is quite worth it, but the portion served here is smaller then any other places.
After lunch, we drove the car to hertz and return our rented car. After dropping the car at hertz, we stroll in the town before heading to the Woolworths to get our dinner.

Haiz…. People came out to tour also can’t forget to use handphone. Next time need restrict no handphone while touring…. 😛
The good thing about our resort is that it is quiet and big. But the bad thing is that we need to climb this steep slope to reach the resort! 😦 By the time reached the resort, my lunch had already digested.

We saw lots of white parrots flying around the resort. Some even landed into the rooms. 🙂 Saw some even went into a rooms and steal their chips, happily munching on these chips… hehe
During the evening, we cooked tomato seafood spaghetti and beef pizza, which goes with white wine for dinner. After dinner, we sit down at the living room again to drink some Black label vodka mix with some peanuts and chips. And thats for the day. 🙂
