It another trip for holiday again! And this time we went to Japan for the 1st time. Japan here we come!!
On the 5th Dec night, we took a night flight and reach Hokkaido on the 6th Dec afternoon. The 1st place we visited is the Otaru Canal. This is the place where the Japan romatic movie is filmed. Otaru used to be the busy port in the first half of 20 century. The canal became obsolete when modern dock allow direct unloading and loading for ships. When we reached there, it is freezing cold. But we face the cold wind blowing taking photos.
We also went to have a little walk in this beautiful area
After a while, we went for our lunch as we were very very hungry after the long flight…. We had our 1st Nabe meal with BBQ Unagi. The Nabe is quite nice, but the BBQ Unagi is so so only…
After the meal, we proceed to Otaru Kitaichi glass where glass are made… This place is so so too, so we made a quick visit and we proceed to the Otau Orgel Don (music box museum). This place is beautiful and big. It has so many types of different music boxes and are all on sale. All the music boxes looks so beautiful and cute. i would like to buy 1 for friend, but got rejected by my CFO….. 😦
As we are about to leave this museum, it suddenly snowing outside. The view is so beautiful……
We ran through the snow and went pass the famous cheese cake shop LeTao. We decided to go into the shop are a light tea with a cake.
We orded a cheese cake and a strawberry cake with 2 tea. The cheese cake is so nice!! 🙂 If can I bring it back to Singapore.
As time is running out, we finish out light tea quite fast and left the cake shop. Took another photo outside as the snow is getting heavy. 🙂
Next we went to the famous white chocolate Ishiya chocolate factory.
After the visit at the chocolate factory, we went for our dinner Ramen!. This is the most delicious dinner I ever had there
